It's not constant one week the chips are the best ever and the next they are poor. They need timers for the chips. Staff get distracted and they end up over cooked. Staff are friendly, place could do with a good cleanup.
20 bucks for a couple of rock hard refried crumbed lamb cutlets, frozen 3 veg, chips and hospital grade gravy. Give me break

I really like the Matilda Service Station the fuel prices are comparable to others in the area. But they have a small to medium decent range of everyday items like bread, milk, eggs ect. They have great range of drinks and snacks and also make a mean coffee. They also offer food for the hungry traveler ranging from the hot box treats which they have a large selection to choose from to lovely cakes, sandwiches to hot meals and burger. The staff are always friendly and welcoming and always have a smile. Really love it and go there anytime were in town.
